Big, big thanks to Debi for giving me the "You Make My Day" award, my first! Since I don't make blog entries very often, it'll probably be my last! Debi, I think you are the inspirational one! You inspired me to travel to Dallas by myself, something I hadn't done in years, and showed me unselfish hospitality. Being able to room with you and talk into the wee hours was one of the highlights of the trip! Your quilting projects inspire me to use my machine more. (Without a little push, I'd probably be producing piles of applique blocks with no finished projects.)

It was fantastic to finally meet you and be able to talk in person. Your applique is magnificant and I am proud to have been given a private lesson. I am keeping an eye out for great airfares so I can come to visit you in the near future.
