There are only two requirements to be entered into my drawing:1) You must answer the question: What is your favorite thing to cook or bake in the fall? (I might want the recipe!)
2) If you do not have a blog, you must leave your email address for me to use in contacting you if you win.

Anyway, here is what you can win! (the best part) I am offering a collection of 35 I Spy squares. Each is 6 1/2" square. These are perfect for a quilt for a boy in your life or for making a quilt to donate to Project Linus. They include sports, animals, dinosaurs, astronauts, and many kinds of foods that kids love.
Here's my inspiration for offering this as a prize: I recently donated a boy's I Spy quilt to our local hospital. I got the most wonderful feedback! It was given to an 8-year-old boy who was there for a surgery connected with his Cerebral Palsy. He cannot speak well but has a very active mind, and he and his parents thoroughly enjoyed playing games with his new quilt. They would ask a question, and he would point to the answer. He left the hospital with the quilt over his lap in the wheelchair and a big grin on his face!

My favorite thing to make in the fall is chunky cinnamon applesauce. My Grandpa always made up a huge batch and canned it so it has a lot of good childhood memories tied into it! Thanks for the opportunity to join in your giveaway!
I love to make banana bread. I'm not a very good cook, but this is always a hit. Thank you for the chance to win such great fabric. I've wanted to make a blanket for Project Linus and hope to do so soon.
My favorite thing to make right now, in the cooler weather....is Lentil Soup. Man, it's good and everyone loves it.

My favorite recipe - well there are a few, all involving pumpkin. The most impressive (to me) is pumpkin-pecan pie. Pumpkin pie (custard) on the bottom with a thin layer of pecan pie & pecans on the top. You can HEAR the choir of angels singing...

My favourite thing to make is Sunshine Soup - the recipe is on my blog. It's a golden soup made from butternut squash and pears. Delicious!

My favorite thing to cook up in the fall is Beans and Greens, it is a thick soup made with spinach, white canallini beans, lots of garlic, italian sausage, pepperoni and sometimes bacon. My italian ex-mother in law taught me how to make it and it is perfect for a chilly day, very hearty!

What a great collection of boyish I-spys (hard ones to collect). Muffins, I like to cook muffins after school starts and TX cools off. My boys love for me to cook sausage balls, I don't like to --but I love that they will eat them in the mornings and I don't have to cook breakfast. Angie

I love to put a pan of apple crisp in the oven, or have applesauce bubbling away on the stove, or bake a Fresh Apple Cake right before a visitor arrives, or brew some apple butter from fresh picked apples. Can't really say which is my favorite though -- I LOVE them all!

I love baking bread in the fall. I don't bake bread in the summer time, so when the fall comes, we're all anxiously awaiting that first loaf to come out of the oven. I try to bake bread every couple of weeks through the winter. We do love our homemade bread!!
I like baking cookies of any kind. I use to have a recipe for cookies that used old potato chips and lost it! So maybe someone out there has it and will share it with both of us.

My family takes a yearly trip out of town to pick apples in Sept. Then I make chunky cinnamon apple sauce, apple pie and apple crisp. Then I am tired of apple anything for a while!
Love those squares but most of all, enjoyed the story of the little boy and the quilt. You touched his life in a way he and his family will remember always. What a great gift from a stranger. Life is amazing!

Do I still have time to enter? I love to cook cheesy potato soup in the fall. My husband can smell before he comes in the house and it's always a hit!
There is something I love to mix and than another that I bake. We make up our own mix for hot cocoa. Matter fact made a batch last night and DH is drinking a cup right now lol. Then the other thing that I almost always make for my Mom and Dad for Christmas is Peanut butter cookies with out flour. They say that it is a gift I can give them all year lol.
